Draw A Demon Clown Face

Demon clowns have always been fun to draw and especially as it’s a play on an age old fear of some kids being scared of regular Clowns who are supposed to be there to entertain young kids. So with drawing a demonic Clown face just like Pennywise the Clown from that Stephen King Movie “IT” they can be drawn with a slightly more with the look of genre horror with spiky teeth and blood shot eyes and blood dripping from their demon mouth.

At the start of the drawing video I begin to sketch out a rough shape for the overall face shape and it’s much like an oval shape which is typical of all face types when you are starting to sketch them out. Sketching in the eyes and the other features happens after the initial beginning outline has been drawn in.

Often when drawing the eyes, it is best to mark them out through a cross shape that helps keep the eyes straight and not lop sided and other features like the mouth can also be sketched in symmetrically or there abouts to make the facial structure look evenly balanced out. The nose is just a round Clown’s nose which can hide the actual nose so it saves you drawing a realistic nose there and the hair has some solid form to it being a huge Clown wig that you just have to make look curly.

In the art video I inked the whole drawing too with a gel ink pen and as a whole the demonic Clown started to come together as a darker drawing that looks more promising as a stand alone design.

Watch the video and see for yourself how you could draw a Demon Clown face yourself and become inspired to draw other things from your own imagination.
