A few weeks back my Wife was on to me that she wanted a new garage door because the old one was starting to creek and become very difficult to open. Now usually I would just purchase one and get it put in by a professional, but since money was now very tight I decided to save a few $100 I would attempt to install the garage door myself. I did a lot of research and spoke to one of my friends who is not an expert but does have some experience in garage doors.
Once I had the information I needed to install the door the next step was to find a suitable garage door that did not cost to much money. The first place I begun looking was online stores were they specialized in everything garage, but the prices were to high for what I wanted, a simple roller door. I then begun looking for garage doors prices on Ebay, and it did not take long for me to find a roller door for a decent price.
Now I had the information I needed on installing garage doors and had a new garage door I could get started. And at the start the it was really difficult working out were all of the parts would go, but after a few hours of head scratching things did slowly begin to come together nicely, it was soon fitted and working perfectly, and I had also installed garage door locks to keep the valuables that were inside safe.
After installing the door I made a few tsets to see if it worked and it was perfect, now for someone with no skills or experience in this kind of thing I was really pleased, and the great thing is with a bit of patients most people could also do this.
